I'm an English<>Turkish localization specialist based in Ankara. Six years in, two million words out. Translation, LQA, editing, MTPE, SDH subtitling, and terminology management across AAA, indie, and mobile titles.
Before games, I translated literary fiction. Three Alastair Reynolds stories — hard SF, dense with physics and grief — and a 1911 political treatise by Leonard Hobhouse. That background isn't incidental: literary translation trains you to hear the difference between a sentence that's technically correct and one that actually sounds like a person. Games need that distinction more than most.
I hold a BA in Translation & Interpreting from Hacettepe University and an English C2 certification. I work remotely, and I meet deadlines.
